Celebrating our Mighty Makers!

We're still buzzing from the energy and innovation we saw at our Mighty Makers camp! This short but intensive two-week experience was designed to give students a rapid and engaging journey into the fundamentals of coding, culminating in a showcase of their newfound skills.

The camp was a massive success, bringing together a diverse group of young, ambitious learners eager to dive into the world of tech.

Four Tracks of Learning

Our goal was to offer something for everyone, regardless of their starting point. We provided four distinct tracks, allowing students to choose their passion and run with it:

• Scratch: Perfect for beginners, this track focused on visual, block-based coding to build amazing games and animations.

• HTML/CSS: Students learned the core building blocks of the web, designing and styling their very own web pages.

• Python: A deep dive into one of the world's most popular and versatile programming languages.

• Java: This track tackled the fundamentals of a powerful, object-oriented language used across countless industries.

The Grand Competition

The camp wasn't just about lessons—it was about application. The entire two weeks led up to our massive final competition, where students put their knowledge to the test. They were challenged to build a unique project from the ground up in their chosen language, presenting their work to our instructors and peers. The creativity and technical skill on display were truly outstanding!

Kushal’s project stood out for its incredible polish, technical complexity, and creative vision. For his outstanding work, Kushal took home the grand prize: a complete build-your-own-computer kit! What a fantastic prize for a future tech leader!
