Scratch, developed by the infamous university Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), is a user-friendly programming language that simplifies traditional coding by using a system of interlocking blocks. This visual approach eliminates the need for textual syntax, making it an ideal introduction to programming for beginners and students without prior experience. By focusing on creativity and problem-solving, Scratch allows users to design interactive stories, games, and animations while learning fundamental coding concepts. Despite its simplicity, Scratch is a highly capable language that supports the creation of complex projects, making it a valuable gateway into the world of computer science and programming.

The lessons are taught in a group setting, with the classes 4 students at a time. There will be a single instructor who is proficient in the language. All course content will be available to the students at all times, and they will be able to get their doubts answered either in class or through email.

There are a fixed amount of sessions per week for group lessons, which means that if a student misses their session for one week, they will be able to catch up by attending any of the other lessons that week. If a student is rendered completely unavailable for those sessions, they can schedule a 30 minute makeup at no additional cost during which an instructor will quickly cover the missed content to catch the student up.
